Ideal Standard International Unveils New Clerkenwell Bathroom Design studio LONDON,
UNITED KINGDOM - Ideal Standard International, a leading provider of
innovative and design-driven bathroom solutions, today launched the
Bath Room, a unique resource centre and design studio for architects
and interior designers, in Clerkenwell, London.
Designed by
leading interior designers Ben Kelly Design, the Bath Room showcases
over 300 of the latest products from Ideal Standard International and
provides inspiration, practical information and space to research.
The Bath Room comprises 3000 square feet on the second floor space at:
99 Charterhouse Street, Clerkenwell, London. The Bath Room offers a
central London showcase demonstrating Ideal Standard International's
expertise in bathroom design and delivers a unique unrivalled service
becoming the "place to be" for designers and architects to create a
bathroom specification.

At
the launch of the Bath Room, designer Ben Kelly shared his views on the
development and the purpose of the design studio. Ben Kelly said: "The
Bath Room has been developed as a hybrid environment. It has reference
to laboratories, studios and hotel bathrooms. This exciting venue has
really been thought through from a designer's perspective. It's the
first of its kind offering both a showroom of products and the scope to
design and map out a bathroom on-site. It will also be a great place
to meet and network with other designers and architects".
"The Bath Room can be used by designers as an extended work space
where they will have the opportunity to hot desk, view products, create
specification packages, view bespoke mock room sets and visualise
products via 3D Cad." Designers can make their choices, taking expert
advice from the Bath Room's team who will create the desired
specification, ensuring clients leave with complete confidence with
their specification.
The bathroom design studio is primarily
targeted at four key sectors including interior design, architects,
hotels and property developers and will be organised into ‘zones' to
meet the needs of industry visitors. The showroom will feature four
brands comprising
Ideal Standard,
Armitage Shanks,
Sottini and
Jado.
Additionally,
Ideal Standard International has teamed up with German
bathroom manufacturer Gerloff to showcase a new top end working pod
called Q Five, aimed at hotels and developers.
There will also
be a design support team on-site available to offer practical advice on
the planning and designing of bathrooms and washrooms for projects
ranging from luxury hotels, to offices and residential properties.

provide a studio space for architects and designers, in addition to a
product showroom. We really want the Bath Room to become the ‘place to
be' to create complete bathroom specifications."
